Coffee Log, Day 3

Hi.

Coffee: Guatemalan Extra Dark Roast, Trader Joe’s

Has it seemed unseasonably warm to anyone else? The tree across the stream is blooming. It’s really something.

I slept with the windows open last night. Around 6:00 a.m. a dog woke me up. It was barking like it wanted to kill, probably barking at a cat. We have three good cats in this neighborhood. I imagine that – given the opportunity, handed the cat on platter – the dog would chicken out. It’s one thing to bark, another to bite. I couldn’t get back to sleep.

  1. Love the format here, Gareth. It is vibrant. Strangely, but not so strangely, I find myself wanting to know what you think of the coffee and what you will drink next. I can smell it even though you have not described it. As I said, strange. Also, I wonder what you think of the books and am waiting to hear.
